Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 incorporates two of the most important baby items: strollers and infant car seats. It makes getting off and on public transport (and walking up and down the stairs) much easier.
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the only fully integrated travel system that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without disturbing your baby.
Easy to Use
Parents should have a car seat and stroller combination that is easy to use. These systems make it easy to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or taking a run. You can also keep track of the changing requirements of your child so that you can take your family on adventures. Our test subjects are awed by the ease and speed with which these travel systems glide whether they have a single front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo as well as the BOB Alterrain pro combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to move. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved by one hand.
Certain models are difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps that cover the bottom of the infant carrier. 2 in 1 pram tempting to skip the steps however it could result in unsafe outcomes.
In the same way, some models are difficult to fold away and store, which makes them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its massive dimensions and bulky frame. This model also has a tiny canopy that some test users are disappointed with. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold with just one button and a pull of the lever. It is also a great option for parents who intend to use their car seat on other people's vehicles as it is able to be easily removed from the base and reattached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold
If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are durable enough to use on long walks. They are also easy to move and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combinations that can only be attached or detached using straps, which may feel like an extra step and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat correctly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent choice for its sturdy construction and practical features, such as a large storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to ensure a secure car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors, pulling the straps tight and then pressing the carrier into the base.
It's also relatively lightweight, making it a great option for frequent travellers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our tests of user-friendliness. Both have one front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile spinner wheel, ideal for shopping and running errands. The only drawback is that they're quite heavy, so it can be tricky to lift them up when carrying children in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combos can be difficult to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the most simple to put together, and it comes with a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this system together a breeze. Other models we tested, such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively simple to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, on the other hand isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors, and using straps that protect the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it requires two hands to snap the carrier into the base, then detach it from there.
In our tests we took about 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together. This is quite quick when you consider the time it saves by not having to take out each piece. The majority of these models come with a simple process for attaching and removing the toddler seat, as well.
